GUPTA LAB

The Gupta lab, located at Toronto Metropolitan University at the MaRS Discovery District Research Facility, is focused on defining mechanisms of rare genetic diseases. Our lab uses proximity-dependent proteomics and image based screens for critical protein associations that become affected upon mutation of a particular gene and when exposed to drug therapies. Dr. Gupta has a longstanding interest and expertise in membrane trafficking, cytoskeletal organization, cell signalling and proximity proteomics.
